What I look for in a side project
A quick filter I use to decide whether an idea is worth my weekends.
I start a lot of projects. I finish far fewer. Over time I built a rough filter for which ideas deserve real time.
It comes down to three questions: Would I use this myself? Can I get to something usable in a weekend? And will I still care about it in a month? If two of the three are yes, I build it.
